Undersized, no defense -- Lee is like the ultimate Don Nelson center. He'll fit in well.

That's not a terrible team. Obviously, PG is a huge need, but they have some capspace & some assets to either sign a stopgap solution (Ridnour would be the best available fit), or make a hard push to bring in Parker or another PG via trade.

That team is like a carbon copy of the Raptors last season. All offense, no defense.

I'd put the Bulls in the playoff picture and (for now) take the Cats out if you are going to make a prediction this early.

now i wonder if randolph bulked up for he can play center ... or maybe gallinari bulked up, he started off at 225 and ended the season around 235.

Don't the Knicks still have Eddy Curry? Or are the Knicks going to do something with him?

yes the knicks still have curry and i wonder if the spurs would bite on a curry, chandler, and walker/douglas for parker trade.

with jefferson gone they can fill in chandler who'd be a good building block for them and if they choose walker then he'll fill in mason's spot or if they go with douglas ... well, toney douglas is popovich's type of player. tough, no nonsense, hardnose defense.

That's gotta be the worst defensive team in the league, even if they get Gary Payton in his prime at point guard.

They did what they had to do though. Filled out their roster for next season and didn't commit any long term salary.

Ha!

No way does New York make the playoffs with this possible (future) squad. Where are the Bulls on your list anyways? NY wouldn't play any defense and unless they land some stud PG, there are gapping holes. Plus Randolph would have to tap into that potential quickly.

Knicks aren't making the playoffs. Azu is done, his injury is bad. Turiaf can't play more than 15 minutes and can't rebound whatsoever just like Amare. Randolph is still a project and Mike D'antoni is gonna hate him and his attitude.

Why is GS doing this? That's a lot of value to give up in a S&T.. especially just for David Lee.

I'd start Turiaf at center to cover for Amare's weaknesses defensively and on the glass, then when you bring Randolph in at PF shift Amare over to center some like how LA uses Gasol. If you're going to play Amare any minutes at center your best bet is having him go against other teams second stringers.

Would NY be getting a small TPE worth a few million as well? If Lee is set to make $13M, Randolph is 2M, Turiaf 4M, Azu 3.3M = 9.3M

Because when GSW think David Lee, they think of the Kareem-esque 37/20/10 he put up against them last year.

He's going to rock the practice court then. They're going to be disappointed watching him against teams that actually play defense.

First of all , nobody was wondering, second of all he's had knee issues ever since college. I doubt anything changes.

F Anthony Randolph (torn ligaments, left ankle) is expected to start working out early in the offseason and should be at full speed well before training camp.

• F Kelenna Azubuike(notes) (torn patella tendon) had surgery May 12 and should be ready for training
