I can't ban people for being jackasses sadly, or this site would be a whole lot less populated apparently.

Seriously, its funny.

It's just basketball people, stop being so damned sensitive. So he had another injury, even if his legs fell off, he's still gonna make over 100 million dollars with that contract.

What's even funnier is all the Wizard fans who claimed they wouldn't trade him for pure expiring contracts if they had the chance.

Shut your bitch ass up, chump.

SUCKS for Gil if true, struggling through so many injuries like this has to be terrible for the guy. I don't even like him as a person or player, but how can you not sympathize with a guy who just wants to play, but just can't.

Not that bad for Washington though, Wall will probably develop better without another PG beside him, and they really need to keep tanking anyways, Wall is a nice young piece, and Blatche is OK, but they could use more young talent for sure.

Ah, it's so fun to laugh at injuries...especially the people spewing karma. If you really believe in Karma, you're in for a bad ride.

I have never seen a public figure bashed for one mistake or legal infraction EVER. Period.

But the thing is, this board has hated him since he became a big name, because he was a bit of a talker, kind of weird, and he wasn't hyped by ESPN despite him playing at a high level. Now all of a sudden, people want to treat him like he's **** Latrell Sprewell or Ron Artest...but the fact is, people think MUCH more highly of Artest than Arenas...why?

Now, no sauce, no twitter, nothing, you'd think SOMEONE would confirm. Guess not.

Gilbert Arenas won the "community assist" award for community service by a NBA back in 2005 for those claiming he's a horrible person. http://www.nba.com/news/community_award_aug05.html

An unloaded gun as a joke, which was a mistake that he has more then the made up for already. One practical joke taken to far does not negate all the good he has done for DC.
