Not really. OKC has a great, young core that can only get better AND they added more good pieces. Ditto Chicago.

Say that now but save this post because in the west and eastern finales it will be Lakers/Thunder and Heat/Bulls BANK ON IT.

Re: NBA.com:The Official Midsummer Rankings..
How do you officially rank teams in the summer time? When nobody is on the court yet, and plenty more transactions are still to be made? Miami STILL doesn't have a team yet. And how is Dallas better than Boston?

Adding Boozer makes them a top 7 team in the league...don't see it. And the Thunder are good but people are riding their nuts too much. KD played like ass in the playoffs.

It was his first playoffs and it was against artest. Carmelo's first playoff line of 15 pts, 8 rebounds on 32% shooting make durant's look like prime MJ. Just like how carmelo became a better player, so will durant.

Not really. A five man roster shouldn't be #1 or 2. Not if you're ranking them from what they are at this very moment, rather than what you THINK they'll be later on.

After one through 10 things got shakey... PHX and Utah are too high. They lost a lot this offseason. Maybe Utah should be there, but definately not PHX. Where's rankings 16-30?

He probably didn't want to have to do a write-up about the Cavaliers. They've suffered enough.

Mods, is there a way to set my preferences so all Heat fans who joined after the 8th are automatically on my ignore list?

Lakers are the defending champs. Barring anything drastic they deserve the #1 spot.
