Again, like others have pointed out it is on ESPN insider meaning you need a paid subscription to read it. I have one and this is one of the "Rumors" posted by ESPN insider.

There hasn't been any confirmation from any local beat writers in So FLA. So, until that happens, I'm not believing ESPN.

Put Gretzky and Tyson in with Lebron/Wade/Bosh and I think they still have a chance to win

What exactly does McGrady bring that the Heat don't already have? He's not a great shooter, he's not a great defender and he doesn't have a proven track record playing off-the-ball effectively. I'm not sure he's even capable of playing within a specific roll designated to him. I think the Heat should look else ware for roll players.

McGrady shooting skill is underrated.

The one thing McGrady brings is he a great decision maker. IMO the only non pg that is a better decision maker is maybe Lebron. He has great vision and runs a great PNR. They don't really need that in Miami. That is why I thought he was a better fit for Orlando. The one thing McGrady would give them is another ball handler which would allow for Wade and Lebron to focus on finishing at times.
