Super friends 2??

If this has been done before, please lock it....

Since there is a slight possibility Melo and CP3 could join Amare in NYK, would people be mad if they hypothetically made another"super team"??

I know majority of people don't like the Heats "superfriends" team, but what if it happened again?

Pretty sure CP3 wouldnt hold an hour long press conference to diss New Orleans. He is a world class talent, not a world class d*ckhead.

well who knows.......i think i heard something that the NBA big wigs are trying to work out some kind of rule or clause in the CBA Negotiations to make sure something like this is a lot harder to pull off....don't remember where i heard it from though

Can someone break down that if such a situation does happen, how would the Knicks go by acquiring Carmelo and CP3? If New Orleans gets really really desperate and Darren Collison once again performs really well, I can imagine they would find Curry and Azabuike's expiring contracts enticing, and trading them two for Chris Paul straight up works in the checker. The problem I see is that they'd probably want a little more than just expirings for their superstar (does New York have anymore first round picks left in the next 10 years?) If New Orleans wants New York to take back say Posey, I don't think they would have enough to give Carmelo the money he wants.

call me a homer but CP and Melo are both Jordan guys and Charlotte is the closest to CP's home. I think the Bobcats are a legit threat to sign him.

Denver can give them a better package then Curry and Azabuike. Namely Billups(team option) and KMart (expiring) plus Lawson or afflalo while taking back Okafer and Paul.

The question was more about your feelings towards the players if they wanted to get together like the heat.
It's very unlikely, but would people have such anger towards them as they do towards Lebron and Co.??

Fans in New Orleans and Denver would be pissed off.

If the Heat win the championship this season, then fans of the other contending teams would be upset as well because they know that their team faces yet another hurdle.

I will continue to hate the front runners but without Melo their not better than the MAgic.

CP3 and Amare would just make the Knicks, Suns EAst.

Though good God Amare would be the luckiest SOB to ever play basketball.
