What picks?

Man the infatuation with the knicks from some people is mind boggling. Make threads on general about your own team. We will be fine, the consensus on the Knicks board is we are happy with our direction worry about your own teams success.

The fact that you hate on the Knicks that ESPN who has insulted us plenty of times for the past few years has us as the 7th seed, and you guys look like you're on pace for another lottery season and you're talking?  How does it feel to be the only Nets fan on this entire board?

A good plan spans years not a year.

Patience is key in whatever you do. Hiring Isiah Thomas is not.

Funny thing is we didn't hire Isiah Thomas, but the Nets did hire Billy King.

Absolutely they can,

Adding Melo seems its going to be not that big of a mountain to climb while a possible CP3 move will take alot more convincing.

Either way, Gallinari > Every NBA player. ;)

no need. I'm pretty sure curry is already as big as any three players on the heat.

I don't know how prestigious or historic the Knicks are with their 2 titles, but they still have more than the Bobcats. (That's including this season)

Again, the only mad person is you. Have you posted anything constructive other than mindless gibber jabber?

I have not or ever trashed the Bobcats. Just the name itself really needs to be changed...

Larry Brown has the team playing his way and it's worked so far. As a matter of fact, I respect the team for their achievements. But listening to fans like you makes me want to turn the other cheek.

If Amare can stay healthy, then Carmelo comes. And then Paul. But that will then be the BIG 4!!

lol. I'm hoping there is more creativity to these names. Ray Allen and KG go to Boston, its the Big 3. Bosh and LBJ go to Miami, the New Big 3. Shaq goes to Boston, the Big shamrock. They just put big in front of everything.

As a Heat fan, I believe the best thing that can happen is for the NYK to put together a great yet not-as-great BIG 3 (such as CP3/Melo/Amare.) If Wade/Bosh/Bron were to split up after 4 years, then the Knicks instantly become the new "superteam" and the favorites -- I feel like their threat would keep our guys together (and LeBron in Miami) longer.

Why can't any team do this? Why do the Knicks need a special thread for it? Lots of teams have the cap space and assets to pull something like this off, especially with a best friends attitude floating around.

Stupid question, IMO. A better question would be something along the lines "is a big 3 likely in NY?", since nothing is really outside of the realm of possibility (especially in basketball). Its unlikely, but possible; NY is a nice destination and I can see a player like Melo just striving under the pressure of the NY limelight.

i think it's been made quite clear that nyc and the nyc media think more of themselves than others do. steinbrenner may have bought his share of players, but you're not finding that in bball or fball are you.

all nyk has been able to show is cash and glamour, but nyk has no credible history in the nba. so NO, nyk won't assemble a big 3 unless your idea of a big 3 is made up of 2nd tier stars.

New York management is kinda challenged or something I think. Its a proven FACT that you wont win with Dantoni as your coach. Also playing DEFENSE will give you a good shot at a championship. They really screwed up with how they are constructing that team. There going to be very good (damn good in future) regular season team, but will get knocked out of playoffs every 2nd round then. They should of fired Dantoni, and got a defensive coach or atleast provided a very good defensive assistant. Welcome to mediocrity NY fans ( I am in same boat with my team).
