Since the only player whose contract carried over from last season is Mario Chalmers, I'd say this is almost the same as my expectations for the entire team.
Gang rebounding and great team defense. Nobody is a stopper on this roster, but the Miami system has never needed one to be elite defensively.
Fueling our offense with our defense. Get stops and push in transition. Efficient half-court sets that maximize our strengths (elite shooters for spacing, two all-world slashers, and a mismatch-causing superstar big) while masking our weaknesses (lack of a banger in the middle).
Hopefully we keep our turnovers down, but I'm not counting on it.
And I'm expecting Joel Anthony to average over 2 blocks a game, so it's just a question of whether he can improve his grip enough to hold onto rebounds and handle those pinpoint passes he sometimes bobbles.
