Steve Nash anyone?
If Phoenix sucks to start the season, they would have to consider blowing it up and trading Nash by the deadline in exchange for some rebuilding assets.
If this hypothetical situation was to occur, what team could Nash put over the top? Who has the assets to make a deal work?
I think he would look great on the Hawks or Magic.
Thoughts?

The only way he's getting traded is if he asks and I doubt he does since he chose to sign the extention and seems fine with the situation of the team now.

Why are you so sure? Nash has been very loyal to the Phoeonix in his time there, so its not inconceivable that the Suns will return the favor and trade him to a contender, especially if they are out of playoff contention.

He's a cash cow for the team, Sarver wont risk losing merchandise sales, ticket sales and alienating the fan base which would all result in a loss of money. Now on the otherhand if Nash comes out to the media and asks for a trade or tells management privately I can see it happening but no way they just decide to trade him.

I'd trade him if he's playing horribly, and trade him for a powerforward.

Nash/Howard.
Nash can add like, 5-8 points to your old resume.
Dwight - 25 PPG/28 PPG? That'd be incredible.

Nash playing for Orlando would be epic. His never had a defensive supporting cast before plus the pick n roll could get Dwight an MVP. Even as he gets older the GOAT shooting ability seems to keep improving.

What could Orlando send in return? Maybe a deal involving Jameer + Reddick or PIetrus? Gortat? I"m just throwing out names - what do Suns fans think?

I'd take...
Jameer/Reddick/Gortat..
For Nash/2nd rounder. Most def, a few years ago? No, but he's at a time where his performance would be.. unpredictable.

Lewis would have a lot of easier shots if Nash were traded to Orlando.

Wtf, Dwight scored 16 a game last season. I could see him getting to 22/23 ppg with Nash though.

rebuildingish pieces
Orton, Redick, Anderson, 2 1sts for Nash
not really interested in Jameer would rather just give the starting job to dragic you would either have to make him a sixth man or move him somewhere else

Unless he requests a trade he'll be staying put IMO. He quietly had another incredible season last year, and I'm looking forward to seeing him work his magic again this season.

It's Steve ****' Nash we're talking about here! Blow up the whole ****' team if that's what Phoenix wants. Jameer + Vince + Rashard + Pietrus + Gortat + Cash considerations + Picks + GM to GM blowjobs in the back of the arena if that's what it freakin' takes.
