Even worse than I thought, ouch. Lol at Michael Beasley being anywhere near the top 50 let alone top 40

Beasley is a pretty good player..we definitley misused him at Miami. We could have handled that situation alot better thats for sure...although part was him being lazy on defense and immature, part of his failures was on Spoeltra and his mindblowing reasonings and rotations.

In any event..he definitley is top 50 at the very least

Beasley's numbers aren't even top 10 at the PF position

Why in the world does that matter, unless you're wanting to superimpose some sort of weird rule in which the top 50 must be composed of the top 10 players at each position?

Without superimposing such an irrational rule, it's pretty obviously possible for someone who is, say, 15th best at his position to be top 50 overall. This is possible because in the current NBA, the 15th best pf, for example, is better than the 10th best center.

Again..Beasley didn't even get that much playing time and he still put up pretty decent numbers for his ROLE here as a player.

I'm positive if he was allowed to be first option on a sorry team...he would have put up much better numbers

the team would also win 10 games. That's the problem with Beasley, he needs to be the 1st option to be the most successful but he's not good enough to do it.

Where's the evidence of that? Hint: there isn't.

The article even highlighted the fact that when DWade was out for 9 games, Beasley carried them to a 4-5 record against very good competition while efficiently putting up big numbers.

In other words, the only evidence there is on the matter suggests the complete opposite of what you claim.

I gave the rankings the benefit of the doubt, but I stopped after seeing bosh over kevin durant.

Almost as bad as this board that had Tyreke Evans as top 15.

Linking bleacher report is like linking and making a thread about any post anywhere on the net of top 50 players.

Bleacher report articles can be written by someone who has only played NBA video games and never seen the actual NBA.

I think if you randomly mixed up the top 50 it wouldn't be that much worse.

Either the OP linked it as credible and he is a fool or he created it and that makes him a flat out dumbass

Pau Gasol is the man who saved Kobe Bryant’s career and legacy. Without him, we wouldn’t have to deal with this overrating of Mr. 24.

Lol, that's exactly what I was thinking. Probably saw his list pop up in the comments section of a NBA.com blog and was like "Yes! I made it yo! All my friends are going to be so jealous when jr. high starts up again!"

Seriously it's a terrible list, and that guy defending it has terrible reasons for defending it so I think it's either the same person or just two people with extremely poor reasoning skills.

Horrible list. Beasley at 39? Joe Johnson is "just as athletically gifted" as Kobe and Wade? Really? Gasol "isnt the most talented or offensively versatile player at his position". Name a more versatile big man, you can't. Durant at 9? Kobe at 7? Duncan at 5?

Oh wait, a miami heat logo just appeared asking if I wanted to suscribe. It makes sense now.

I had been kicking around the idea of never reading anything Bleacher Report-related again. I believe this just put it over the top.
