Neither. But, Favors is more likely of the 2 to bust because he is substantially more raw.

Considering Favors is a project and Turner was supposed to be the sure thing that could contribute right away it has to be Turner. If the Nets planned on Favors being a huge factor this year they wouldn't have made the Murphy trade.

They have both looked horrendous so I think it is just fine to make this thread. Until proven otherwise, they are busts. They haven't shown anything to make me believe they will even be solid role players in this league, let alone stars.

Derrick Favors has BUST written all over him. He couldn't even lead his collage team in rebounding. He's a real softy. More than likely the next Michael Olowokandi... mark my words!

All the more reason they haven't proven anything. They have looked terrible in Summer League and the pre-season. Things will only get tougher in the regular season. Until proven otherwise, I have no need to respect the games of Evan Turner or Derrick Favors. Respect is earned, not given.

Do you remember how awful LeBron was in his first few preseason game back in '03? Seriously just wait til the season starts when their play actually counts for something until you make these statements.

Even if they both have horrible rookie years you won't know for sure until about year 3. Not every superstar sets the world on fire out the gates.
