The game lost a champion. Pure and simple. Guy hasn't had the biggest of roles but he has a lot of hardware in his illustrious career.

Life and family are more important. Good call if it was that serious.

He retires with an NBA ring and an Olympic gold medal. I'm happy for him, representing the country of my ancestors, as well as those of us fans with heart palpitations ourselves.
