For the record I'm happy for Al, wish it didn't have to come at our expense, but at least he's on a winning team now.

Getting eliminated in the playoffs after threepeating = the 16th game of an NBA regular season. Gotcha.

Seriously though, I'd rather have a guy care like this about a regular season win than a guy who shrugs off every loss.

Good on Al for feeling emotional after a good win. The thing is, basketball is something NBA players worked on for all their lives, I'm happy that he feels happy after beating a really good team and playing for a good franchise like the Jazz. Would be even better if more players cared about winning like Al imo.

Welcome to RealGM. I think of these people didn't watch the game, plus the whole Jazz team, and every Jazz fan got emotional. Think about it, the Lakers knocked the Jazz out 3 years in a row, including a sweep last year, and we were down 19 in this game in the 1st quarter, but the Jazz were relentless, pretty cut the entire lead in the 2nd, and then it was a see-saw match the rest of the way, then Kobe took over, and nearly sealed the game, but the Jazz made some great stops, combined with bad decisions by the Lakers to soar back in the final minute. It's an emotional rollercoaster, especially for someone not used to winning, and he used to beast against the Lakers as a member of the Timberwolves.

Pffffffffftt.......he might as well get use to that feeling, come May if they face the Lakers that's exactly how he'll feel once we send'em to Club Med for the 4th year in a row.

Now personally I don't think I would ever cry about a loss, no matter how big it was, but having said that I would much rather have a player who cries about a loss, than one who just laughs it off and starts hugging the opponent and behaves like it's just another game. Give me the emotionally invested player any day because I'm assuming they'll give me a better effort

The man just sweats emotion. I love it.

Literally, he sweats it. I don't think I've ever seen another person sweat as much as Big Al.

I'm happy for him. He deserves to be on a winning team like the Jazz. It's also a great opportunity to be coached by Sloan.
