I know him. He told me that he isnt going to play again bc it was just to time consuming. Also He didnt like the fact that team USA players only made 5K for thier time, while other teams paid their players up to 500K

Noah plays for France. and to be fair, Bosh did a terrific job off the bench for the 08 team. He's got the experience factor over Amare i guess. Chandler...well, lol

noah would play for france.
and yes i would pick tyson chandler over amare. with team USA"s gambling perimeter defense, it puts more emphasis on the ability to protect the paint. chandler's become one of the premier big man defenders in the game. hes got the quickness to rotate over and the length to bother shots.
amare's scoring isnt really needed.

Amare/Odom
Dwight/ (Love or Millsap)

That is the best team. I had to exclude Wade and Lebron because their ballstoppers plus a Paul/Kobe/Durant backcourt provides outside shooting and a much higher basketball iq which is extremely important in international play.

i didnt think bosh was all that special. he's like a tweener in int'l ball. doesnt have enough range to stretch the d and doesnt have the speed or experience to guard int'l 4's. hes also too soft and not enough of a shot blocking presence to man the 5 in FIBA ball.

As a Bulls fan, it has some redeeming qualities to it though.

Rose has his gold and there are more than enough stars in the team USA pool to get the job done if that's truly his wish.

As for some people's lineups... are you serious? Kobe/Wade/Melo/Durant/Lebron? LOL. Some people just don't understand basketball. You don't just take the biggest ballhog on each respective team and put them on the court together. Thought people would realize by this point that PPG doesn't win championships.

Durant is good and all but there's no way he's going to start at the 3 if LeBron goes. And I dont see him staring ahead of Melo either. In no particular order:

CP3/Deron/Kidd
Kobe/Wade
Bron/Durant
Melo/Bosh/Odom
Dwight/Amare/Chandler

Other guys will get the nod if these guys decide they wont play. Amare is questionable because of his knees. Otherwise this looks like the squad. Kobe and Kidd might decide to rest due to age.
