To play devil's advocate: one could say he didn't have full control over the ball when he took the first two steps.

Then again, it should have been called. The ref was right next to him.

I love how the NBA always tries to legitimize its officiating. I laughed my ass off the first time I watched "Making the Call with Ronnie Nunn" on NBA TV.... total self promotion by the NBA. Too bad no one's buying it.

After reading your posts, I went on to re-watch the vid many times.

It wasn't a 5 step. But it was 4 :lol: in the end, it's still a travel. That referee who was watching the play didn't even call it :rofl:

Barbosa did the same thing this year. It's weird, I actually see players travel somewhat often when they have a fast break all to themselves.

He definitely took an extra step but he was moving pretty quickly.

Wilson Chandler's vs the Heat was worse.
