LMA isn't showing any signs of slowing down so for me he's arrived...I thought about two weeks ago he couldn't keep it up but i'm glad i was wrong...LMA is quietly becoming a monster

Nice adjustment by VDN. Your team goes on an 8-0 run to get down by 3 and you go small ball on a Blazer team with no big men.

I guess because he's been getting so much hype for all of his great dunks, but it was great to see Aldridge emasculate Griffin on a dunk to basically end the game.

You do understand that we are without 2 of their top 3 players, right?

Kurt Thomas and Taj Gibson are not normal starters.

Also, they were pretty entertaining on MLK Day 8-)

LMA has become a beast and is getting almost zero attention.

Aldridge is that guy. Owned both Love and Griff this week. Portland should still be rolling by the time coaches vote in all-star reserves (next two games are Indy and Sac at home). Maybe a win streak will help his chances.

I dont wanna sound like a homer, but that is a very accurate assessment. Aldridge dominated them offensively, and to a great extent shut them down defensively. I think analyzing purely matchup wise, Aldridge is the better one of the 3. Now, it would be interesting to see if coaches could select Aldridge to play C at All-star game along with Gasol. He's got legit size, which both Love and Griffin lack to effectively defend and play that position.

He's got the most refined offensive game of the group by far right now. Not saying the others are bad, not by a long shot, but he's definitely got the edge there as well as being by far the best defensively (still not a great defender but leaps and bounds better than he was previously). He's the worst rebounder of the three though, and doesn't have as much pizazz or hype that Griffin does obviously, and doesn't have the gaudy 20/20 games that Love does.

At this moment in time I believe he's the best of the three. No doubt in my mind Griffin will surpass him, especially if he starts giving a damn on defense and keeps knocking down that mid range jumper that Malone eventually developed. Love is great, and would LOVE (ha!) to have him along side LMA in Portland next year, but I don't think he should make it and is currently the worst of the three, not that that's really a terrible thing
Thank you for all the memories BRoy. You were a class act and brought hope to an entire region for 5 years. You will be missed.

They're all talented players in different ways. Defensively, however, only one of them gets it done, Aldridge.
I think a fair way to scrutinize their full value in addition to raw stats is by simply asking who decidedly makes his team better of the 3 (note the emphasis on decidedly)?

Through my lenses:
Love? No
Griffin? To a degree
Aldridge? Certainly

This is all mirrored in their respective team record's, if you don't bother just watching them play.
