I will never understand why the Cavs weren't willing to take on Jr Smith with part of their trade exception when the Nuggets were looking to shed salary.

I think they are overrating their TPE. Rumors were they wanted 2 good 1st round picks to take Murphy, and wanted a 1st round pick along with Gerald wallace to absorb his contract.

Karl and JR for that matter have gotten a good feel for that at least and limit him at times that he doesn't have his shot going. People still judge him far too much off of his reputation. It will be tough with the log jam the Nuggets just created at the wings, but I think he will step into a more predominant role with this team. His attitude since the trade even seems to have dramatically changed from the interviews Ive seen and his play on the court tonight.

I have lost count how many games he has blown it for the Nuggets vs the Spurs.

Yes it's JR's time to shine. If the Nuggets keep the pieces they've acquired and continue to remold their team they will continue to contend.
