Post#1 » by Bluewaterheaven » Sun Apr 17, 2011 12:16 am

I have liked Indy all season, and seeing the way they played the Bulls has made me like them even more. How good do you guys thing they would have been if they got Mayo?

I don't think they'd be that much better.

Real talk.
But Miracle Whip is seriously underrated on these boards too.

Miracle Whip is only good when you have quality breads to carry it.

On a serious note.. Mayo would have given the Pacers that one guy who could create for himself off the dribble. And in todays game would have been a big help.

Not much. It's still a joke that you can get into the playoffs with 37 wins.

They certainly would have been better than they are now... by a lot might I add. Your teams ceiling is so low when you have no legit two way player that can score and has the ability to playmake and set others up like what OJ Mayo can do.

Up 10 with 3 minutes left, blowing the lead like that there is no excuse for it. The Pacers simply had no playmakers that simple. Granger was just shotjacking since he is just a pure scorer.

With that being said, OJ is going to do dirty things to the Spurs, I smell an upset coming

The better question is would the Grizzlies upset the Spurs if they had traded Mayo. That's the going to be the more intriguing question 1.5 weeks from now.
OJ Mayo , Michael Jordan , Allen Iverson.

smh @ all the hate...

2 answer the question the Pacers would be much better. Granger is their only threat. & to make it worst fam can't dribble, create 2 save his life

O.J. would of been Indiana's best player if that trade went thru

^Both of those are wrong.

They would probably be around the same, but likely a little worse. Mayo might be a better scorer than they already have at SG but he's a far, far worse defender than anyone on that roster period. So they would have just swapped one weakness for another.

He would have been a nice addition, but I don't think he'd have made a huge difference this season.
