As for LeBron, I have no problem putting him on any list of athletic phenoms.

One inch shorter and the same weight as Karl Malone, yet with the agility and quickness of an elite wing. Never seen anything like him.

Yep, we all know only the white guys take steroids.

Either that or you just dont watch the sport obasketball. You do realize that Basketball players suffer far greater injuries than Football players correct?... Or do u somehow think Getting hit in Mid Air over a hardwood floor is less dangerous that a nfl player in pada & a helmet getting hit on some turf?

but you just seem like a Lebron hater so I think im wasting my time

Not even close. Pads just instill courage in guys to go all-out on hits. NFL players get so much brain damage it's crazy. At least this is based on the autopsy of that Bengals receiver, Chris Johnson(?) that went crazy and died. He was only 26 but had the brain of an alzheimers patient. And he's a receiver. RBs, linemen and linebackers experience way more collisions than receivers. That and leg injuries have to be worse in the NFL as well. PEACE.

No, basketball players do not suffer far greater injuries. They may suffer a greater number of injuries, but most basketball injuries are minor, stuff like sprained ankles, strained ligaments, and bruises.

Every year multiple NFL players suffer leg injuries as devastating as Shaun Livingston's. Multiple concussions every year, sometimes even multiple concussions for the same player.

How many NBA players have been paralyzed from an NBA play? I've seen at least NFL paralyzations 2 in my lifetime - Mike Utley and Dennis Byrd - in addition to several other players (David Pollack, Kevin Everett, etc) who have suffered broken necks and backs, in which doctors said they might never walk again.

Actually, I think Lebron is the best player in the NBA. I think Woj is a pure hater, and was even before The Decision. And The Decision wasn't even a big deal, people were acting like he poisoned Cleveland's water supply or something. Especially that idiot Brian Windhorst, IIRC he compared Lebron leaving to Hiroshima being nuked, which was ridiculous.

Consider that there has to be someone who is the fastest human ever. It happens to be Usain Bolt. Is there anything else special about him apart from that? Not really. If he didn't exist, the second fastest human ever would be the fastest human ever, and would be an equally uninspiring topic to try to write two paragraphs about.

Yes, he's the fastest man in history by far and the second fastest isn't even close.

Are you Serious?

Football gives you injuries on a constant basis. You think pads really help, if you've ever played football the only pads that help are thigh pads. Other than that pads can really hurt you more than help you. Also do you really think Lebron would be able to do the things he does with pads on. If anything Lebron was scared of playing football. If he played then he would not have a long career, he would most likely blow out his knees.

NBA athlete's are overrated. They don't compere to NFL athletes. When you look at the NFL combine numbers and compare them to the NBA combine numbers, it's not even close. All sorts of NFL guys have 35+ inch vertical leaps, that's not so common amongst NBA athletes.

Lebron James looked very slow on the football field as a high schooler. Lebron definitely never ran a 4.4.

NBA athletes are also much much taller and and have a bigger wingspans. Besides maybe the QB position, NBA athletes also require much more skills.

Both NBA players and NFL players are good athletes. However, the type of athleticism required for each sport doesn't have much overlap. Many of the physical attributes that are helpful in one sport are not as helpful in the other.

Just like both sprinters and marathoners are good athletes, but there is little overlap in the type of athleticism required for each race.

If they are going NFL, Vick should be on that list. Vick is the biggest freak of nature athlete to ever touch a football arguably. Certainly stands out more than one of the biggest busts of all time in Mandarich. 4.3 speed from the QB position with all that agility and a rocket arm to boot? We may literally never see another player like that again.

And how are they going to leave off Wilt like that?

That is in part because NBA players have to concern themselves with not only being top notch fast twitch power athletes, but with being able to run long distances as well.

The typical freak basketball athlete can produce high marks on things such as vertical leap, one step vertical leap, and short distance sprints while also being able to give you a hard five mile run.

Many of the freak NFL players being mentioned (particularly those with Lebron James type/ comparable size) would need CPR after running a hard 5 miles.

Stamina, after all, is also a measure of athletic ability.

NBA players probably have more stamina. But NFL players are faster, stronger, quicker, jump higher. Some quarterbacks are more athletic than half of the NBA.
