Kobe's emotions
This realization came to my mind I was watching the Lakers Hornets game 4, after Jarret Jack hit that jumper. I noticed Kobe's face expression as the team went to that timeout. His look was a combination combination of being scared and about to cry.
I noticed this in other players too in this league (Big Baby, Dirk, Miami's Big Three, KG, etc), who get really emotional during times their team struggles. This really does annoy me.
Think about this imaginary scenario for example: Your team is up 2-0 in the playoffs. Which team would you be more scared to face in Game 3:
: The Spurs, with Tim Duncan all calm and focused with his poker face all through. With no idea what to expect from him.
: The Heat or the Lakers: With the Big Three all crying their **** off in the post game conferece, Kobe yelling and swearing on his teamates and hitting things, calling people gay slurs. Or Dirk kicking treadmills for that case.
Whenever I see people crying and angry like that just motivates me to run over them the next game.
Also, it is determinetal to your team. Leaders have to stay calm. In today's work place, you get disciplined if you cry at work. Kobe has no reason to be so upset, his team is way too tall and talented to let Hornets win two more, emotions will only cause his team to choke and lose.
I am not saying here that Kobe, Lebron or Wade suck in any way. I just think that so many potential of teams is taken away because of lack of mental strength of players. Anyone agree?

Not really getting what you're saying.
I'd much rather play the Spurs than the Heat or Lakers

Would u rather play a team with a leader that is calm, or a team with an emotional leader that would cry if you hit a gamewinner on him?

5 titles, 7 finals appearances
Has the potential to retire as the winningest superstar in all of modern sports.
I think Bryant knows what he's doing.

Re: Kobe's emotions
so in essence, if kobe controlled his emotions better he might have seven or so championships and a couple extra finals and league mvp's?

So then we could assume that you are more intimidated by Tim Duncan than Michael Jordan?

Re: Kobe's emotions
Yes Kobe won 5 rings. But that still doesn't mean it's okay to cry. It's determental as I said in the OP. Your helping the other team.
In my example of Tim Duncan was just a made up example, he shows emotions from time to time , but I said in a ideal situation if you show emotional toughness you are tougher to beat.
Don't have to cry to care. Don't have to yell or throw things to show your care. Is this how human being show they care?

Just a poorly executed thread. Says you live in Pickering?! Well you are an embarrassment to the people of Pickering and the region of Durham. You should be ashamed!
