So beating the Celtics where Wade > LeBron is swept under the rug. How convenient/selective, and terribly inconsistent. Wade was already the #1 guy on a championship team and now he has better teammates.

but he's no longer the best player and shouldn't be the #1 guy. If they go back to the ball in wade's hands half or most of the time, Dallas will win.

We'll see. Wade had a pretty good series against Dallas once upon a time.

It's Lebron's team. The guy was getting MVP chants in game 4.

Wade and James have both been getting MVP chants all year. Heat fans are smart enough to realize they have two MVP-calibre players even if some of the people in this thread aren't.

Maybe not on the floor. But off it, it is. He built the damn team!

Give Wade exec of the year not Riley.

So you're saying Wade was more worthy than Forman for succeeding where Gar failed by adding 2 superstars to the one already on their rosters?

- and then for resiging Haslem and adding Miler as compared to Korver and of course sloppy seconds Boozer, the worthless but gaudy trinket of a Miami native begging to come home who Riles, errr, Wade wisely rejected?

Maybe you do have a point on who deserves it vs who doesn't.

Update:
Boozer said he and the Jazz have "mutually agreed" to a trade and that it would be "a beautiful thing" if he wound up in Miami, the Miami Herald reports.

I think it is. But it's kind of like Shaq and Kobe back in the early 00's .

Didn't they re-name it Wade County?

Look at the Yankees. No one is going to argue Derek Jeter is better than Alex Rodriguez. But I'm pretty sure we know who's team it is.

But this has been beaten to death. Both players need each other. Dwayne needs LeBron to get back to the mountain top. LeBron needs Dwayne to get there for the first time.

Completely and thoroughly LeBron's team. Wade is the sidekick, both in terms of impact on the court and presence off the court.

Well, the media seems to barely acknowledge him these days. Heck, I've seen a lot of Miami fans (or bandwagoners?) say that Lebron is that guy on the team now.

Wade's not exactly a sidekick and he's sort of like Jeter, but this isn't baseball. Lebron has taken his team from him. Lebron controls the offense as he was supposed to, but it's clear that the keys to the franchise have been given to Lebron... he's controlling everything in the 4th quarters.

Some Wade fans are probably upset with this, but he's not leading his team in the 4th quarters like he used to.

If Marion does a good job on Lebron in the finals and Wade has his way with Stevenson, will it be Wade's team again? I'm guessing yes.

It depends on who scored more points the last time they played.

It's true it depends on the day, but when the game is really important, well Wade is demonstrating to be the man!
