He's one of the best pick and roll defenders in the nba on 4/5 spot, great post defender and great shot-blocker especially for his size. Anyway it's amazing how he keeps missing layups underneath the basket :lol:

i don't think stats are going to help you evaluate what Joel Anthony means to the heat. His impact is quite evident I would say.

Joel knows that all he needs to do is focus on defense. So he puts all his energy and might to that side of ball, even at times scoring for the other team on putbacks.

He is a good player as long as the ball never touches his hands on offense.
