I could see all the east playoff teams having positive records this year at least.

The knicks, pacers, hawks and sixers will all be between 44 and 50 wins imo.

Wait someone said that now that Amare has back problems he will not be the same player.

I mean as far as I have seen the problem with his back has continued to be a muscular problem. That is not the same type of problem most people associate with nagging back injuries. Injuries related to the actual spinal cord and the discs that protect the spinal cord are generally the back injuries that become re-occuring.

Maybe there has been some type of update since I last read an article about his back a few weeks ago. Now he has plenty of other problems with his knees and what have you, and those knee injuries are just as nagging, and impossible to heal completely. I would worry about the Knees not the back if it is indeed simply the muscle that was injured.
Anyways:
1.Heat
2.Bulls
3.Celtics
4.Knicks
5.Magic
6.Hawks
7.Sixers
8. Indiana

So the Celtics will be fight for the 8th seed?

I kind of feel that way because I think 2 out of the 'Big' 4 is going to go down this season via season-ending injury.

Oh...well, when you put it that way...

The Bucks were better than them the season before then got absolutely smashed by injuries last season and still only finished 6 games back - how is it lol'worthy to think that with a healthy roster they'd be better again?

A season ending injury will be what, 10 games missed?

The Celtics always steam roll the competition for the first 25 games of the season and I think in the past 3 years have lead the NBA after 25 games each year. They fade off afterwards due to age.

With a lockout looming and the season being shorten to at least 40 games, I think the Celtics will get the advantage and be able to hold onto their 3rd spot in the East.
