IF there was no lockout, we wouldn't have that many.

The ball would land between them and they would just stare at each other unaware of what to do.
easy fix for Curry though, just have a hypnotist convince him that the ball is a big giant meatball
that same hypnotist will convince bargs that the ball is a big giant italian meatball and he will protect it with his life

Re: How good would Eddy Curry be if he was skinny and health
Curry was never a good player and would make whatever team he played for worse, most likely. He could score in the post when left one on one but that's it. He was a terrible defender, terrible rebounder, didn't fight for position, completely unaware of what was going on around him, couldn't pass and turned the ball over a lot.
He's a classic case of being able to to get by on athletic ability and size alone. The dude was allergic to work and it showed in his incredibly lazy play while continuing to show in his complete lack of discipline when it comes to his career and his own well being.

I actually think this a good comparison, I'd say much worse rebounder.

If you have a stat named for you when you have been healthy, the outlook doesn't look promising.

The Eddy Curry Line was originally established to put a spotlight on how truly anemic Curry’s overall fantasy line is. It can be used to help establish which players are among the best and worst, in terms of efficiency of production, for fantasy basketball. The standard: a player must average more turnovers than assists, steals, and blocks combined – in order to qualify, a player must have appeared in at least half of his team’s games and averaged at least 25 minutes of playing time.

his huge badonkadonk was actually an "asset" (knicksosmoove stop, you're slaying me here) for his low post game

It wrecks your theme to include something that's actually true.
LeBron has been one of the top 3 or so (arguably the best) 4th quarter players year after year for quite some time.
What you're doing is akin to a DHoward hater saying that DH is short, fat, and unathletic.

It's actually not that far-fetch as people makes it sound. I mean, yeah gaining height is pretty impossible for adults to do, and gaining specific skills would probably take awhile; however, losing weight, imo is much easier to do (of course you need the right mindset).

He averaged a 19/7 awhile ago. I'm not sure he'll ever get those numbers back, but that's probably the best he can do.

It's not so much the weight, but rather the body fat that matters. Weight at a low body fat can be a good thing, as it adds strength.
He's still only 29. If he's willing to get his body fat to 4%, it's still ENTIRELY possible for him to make a complete transformation, like Bynum did.
Most of these guys actually want to work and improve. The difference between Andrew Bynum and Eddy Curry is that the former took my body fat advice. No doubt Riley is hoping Curry will do the same.

skinny does not equal healthy--especially for a pro athlete.

He would be a skinny, healthy, lazy player who is a poor rebounder and an even worse defender?

Re: How good would Eddy Curry be if he was skinny and health
He'd be worse if skinny. The years he did well scoring is when he used his size to get great basket position. He's not very strong, so if smaller, he'd have a hard to getting close to the basket.

players like Curry tend to stay fat once they get fat no matter the motivation.....a few I can recall Pig Miller, Jerome James, lesser extend Sean May (even had high six figure incentive to stay under a certain weight and still didn't meet the limit)
