I'm actually shocked Shaq isn't on that list.

Must be because he's retired, but still, I would think he would be one of the most marketable, behind Jordan.

They're basically all old players with strong brands and recognition. Newer players need to put in more time to get more marketability unless you're a Chicago fan favorite like Rose apparently. Oh yea and don't do what the Heat Big 3 did unless you want to be villains and embrace it like Charles Barkley did.

Oh wow, I didn't even notice that Blake and Paul aren't on here. Dwight, Blake and CP seem like the 3 most marketable players in the league.

 @ Jason Kidd's serial killer stare being marketed ahead of Paul. I don't know a single girl who doesn't love him. Even my 46 year old, ultra conservative workaholic mom thinks he's "cute".

This list is hilarious. Aren't they the same company with the faulty TV ratings system?

This doesn't surprise me. Vince's name on the list does. But Miami's team as a whole won't be marketable until next year.

Yeah this list is a fail. Dirk, Pau gasol, Vince? Wtf? Wade, LeBron, Dwight, KD, Griffin, CP3 have to be on this list, probably forgetting a few names as well that should definitely be on it.

Vince Carter? Really? Who did they poll, people who just rode the Hot Tub Time Machine back to 2001?

How is Garnett even on that list? He's seen as a villain by many people and his intense, expletive-heavy persona is like the opposite of a marketable athlete. And the rest of this list makes me question if this research was done 10 years ago.

If I was to make a list without LeBron and Wade, it would be more like:

1. Kobe Bryant
2. Dwight Howard
3. Derrick Rose
4. Dirk Nowitzki
5. Pau Gasol
6. Blake Griffin
7. Kevin Durant
8. Russell Westbrook
9. Chris Paul
10. Paul Pierce

Mixture of old and young, wholesome and not-so-wholesome, winners and not-yet-winners, well known and emerging, international and American...

Looks like this company needs to fire their research analysts and hire someone who has half a brain and a sliver of common sense.

The player omissions in this list are so glaring and nonsensical it is irritating.

It's quite clear that most of you are mistaking popularity for brand. Completely different concepts.
