Huh??? I see "Now" not "Not". Can someone else verify this please? Im looking at it right now and it says "Representatives from teams, including coaches and GMs, are now allowed to be in contact with players during the lockout".

Someone made a typo and then corrected it. OP, you weren't wrong. It did say now allowed before.

Fact. The OP got screwed just like everyone else in here. It did say "now" and whoever typed it changed it to "not". RealGM screwed us with Wiretap yet again.

Awks

I still see it as "Representatives from teams, including coaches and GMs, are not allowed to be in contact with players during the lockout."

Lockout may end soon

Proof: Cheap Wolves decided to save head coach salary for 2011-2012 by hiring no one.
Now, reports are that hiring of Rick Adelman is imminent. (see wiretap)

Obviously, Wolves arent going to move & fill the position unless Kahn has been told to fill it now by his boss - who would know that a deal is very close.

Yeah but it's Rick Adelman, who will they get that's better? I don't think the Zen Master would jump at that chance.

Adelman is over rated but he is not cheap to hire. I think it was a given that he would get the job because he was best candidate.

However, the Wolves didnt hire him because, I believe, they could save a few million in salary if there is a lockout. If no players, a coach is not needed.

A team needs 2 superstars on Board in order for Phil to consider them. If Knicks get Paul or Howard, I can see him going there

Don't get me wrong, I hope you're right. But I just think the Wolves jumped at the chance to get Adelman before someone else swooped in a stole him.
