He has more flair because he has more space to showcase his flair thanks to his timing.
Kemp's power overshadows his flair and the defenses don't give him much room to cherry pick show boat dunks.
There's also the fact that in Kemp's era, he didn't need to add any extra flair to in-game dunks. Those were more for the dunk contests and the physical way the defense played then meant you did not have time to worry about that when bodies are going to be thrown all over you.

No coach. No GM. Probably no star. I swear, in my 23 years of following this team, I can't name a stranger time than this moment to be a supporter of the Magic.

If you're talking about flair in the context of creativity, then yes, I agree that Blake has the edge there.
I'm thinking Kemp had more dazzle, more flamboyance in his dunks - that type of flair.
Blake Griffin's best dunks aren't even dunks. Nuff said.

We both agree then.
...however:
I consider those types of flair excitement and in the modern NBA, I consider some of those technical fouls. (or whatever they call holding on too long on the basket for)
I think for me what really made Kemp dazzle over everyone was the same reason why I'm a fan of much older players and why I'm not as big at hating McGee as others here are.
Kemp didn't dazzle everyone on pure ability. He just took the risks and he learned to go through those crowded risks and that's what made every Kemp dunk much more exciting than Blake's.
Things tend to look flamboyant when the d is so tight and this guy just plows through guys without getting called for charging. In today's era, even prime Kemp would not seem as exciting because very few bigs would be in position to stop him. Look at how underrated McGee's highlights are and how overrated the haterade is. Look at how hollow D Rose's drive by vertical slams are because the bigs knowing they would always get the call against them don't even try to touch him.

Blake's best dunks can match Kemp's best. But Kemp had much more variety with more flair and agility. Unless Blake can add more variation to his dunks, Kemp is easily the better dunker.

i'm not putting one guy over the other but i think a factor in the awesomeness of kemp's dunks ( and a lot of great dunks and dunkers from that era) were his taunting/celebrations and all that...stuff you couldn't really get away with in today's nba.
That said, I'd take Kemp's double pump reverse dunk - which he did to avoid the defense, and not just for the sake of style - over anything Blake has ever done.
I watched prime Kemp and prime Griffin, and I'm surprised at the responses here. Kemp was amazing, but how exactly did he dunk better than Blake? It's indisputable that Blake jumps higher, imo Blake goes with at least the same level of abandon, and Blake is clearly stronger. And what's Kemp talking about Blake needs a step or two? Dude dunks on people off vert all the time, damn near two times a game. But of course Kemp is gonna say that stuff, it's human nature.
In 20 years people will be romanticising Blake when the new, clearly superior dunker is slamming em' home with his feet.
