No
anyways, since OKC has been winning lately and Heat have been playing their worst ball of the season.. I think Durant has a fair lead over Bron now. If OKC wins against Heat he is hands down MVP

Kevin Durant - Best player in the league, best scorer in the league, and the MVP.
Game over.
Game over.

They don't even need to win against the Heat for KD to be the MVP. Stans just keep saying that so they have an established reason to act like LeBron is still close in the race on the off chance that it does happen.

He is the best player in the NBA, deal with it, or are you going to wait till the end of the season before Durant becomes the best? I might do that too but I just expect it to happen.

We'll see if Durant is the best in playoffs. He has been great in RS, and it's not absurd to say that he might be the best player in the league, seen what he's been doing, the numbers he's putting up, and how good he makes Thunder to be.
Maybe Heat can't win against Orlando.

KD has the MVP on lock.
We can't even win basketball games lately. Done with this ****.
See you guys in the playoffs...wait, maybe not.
Maybe Heat can't win against Orlando.

Last season some people didn't have Dirk in the top5 before the playoffs came. After Dirk won, he was considered by many the best player in the league.
Not saying Durant is better than LeBron, or even Dwight. But it's not absurd to say that either. He'll prove it(or not) in the playoffs. He's a much better player than last season, we'll see how good he's got.

As an OKC hater and Dallas fan, I hate to say if Durant doesn't win it this year it will be a shame.

If and when Durant outperforms LeBron to win the title, I'd expect to change my mind. To this point every conceivable individual metric puts LeBron ahead of Durant. Durant should not be getting the MVP simply because the team does so incredibly well when he's on the bench.
This isn't anything personal. I found LeBron's behavior as he moved to Miami distasteful, and absolutely love Durant's humble demeanor. When there's hard evidence that Durant's impact surpasses LeBron's, I'll be right on board with you.

What if LeBron and the Heat don't make it to the Finals? Then what will your opinion be on the best? The truth is that the Heat can actually lose to a few teams in the East. They aren't some world beater like everybody claimed they were earlier this season.
I'm not on the advanced metrics like you are, so we already differ in opinion.

Do your advanced metrics show that he hasn't even been the most impactful person on his team since basically begin to mid January, or basically half the season? Because he hasn't been.
