Derek Fisher is
401st out of 466 players in the NBA in PER. That's pretty damn bad for a guy who was starting and who is a major rotation player on his new team. Look at the MPG of the other scrubs surrounding him. Every single one of them that plays ~20 MPG plays for the D-League Dakota...New Jersey Nets. And he's played by far the most games of any of his fellow scrubs.
Yeah, D-Fish aka Old Man River aka Mr. 5Ringz aka Mr. 0.4 is the worst player in the league.

Then yeah if you consider minutes played and being a starter he is the worst player in the league. But I was just saying technically he isn't THE worst player in the league because if you gave those scrubs the same minutes and being a starter I'm sure they will do worse.

I see what you mean, yeah, but I don't know. Fisher literally does nothing...

He's just there to give pep talks when the Thunder needs it most.

He also seems to be the "luckiest" player in the league. In 204 minutes with him on the court, the Thunder scored 68 more points than their opponents, that makes +16 per 48 minutes. In 286 minutes without Fisher on the court (since he joined) the Thunder scored 17 points more than their opponents or +2.9 per 48 minutes. Overall, without Fisher on the court this season the Thunder are +5.4 per 48 minutes over 2504 minutes. No idea what Fisher does on the court, but he seems to help his team in terms of outscoring their opponents.

One does not simply measure intangibles.
So how can you evaluate theyr impact and state player X brings more intangibles than player Y if you cant measure them?

He sucks. Buy into the "championship pedigree" if you're that way inclined, me, I know he's a product of a system. Now that he's away from that system, he's exposed as what he is: trash.

Lakers with Fisher: 27-16 - .628
Lakers without Fisher: 8-6 - .571
Thunder without Fisher: 34-12 - .708
Thunder with Fisher 7-3 - .700
The Thunder were only looking for leadership. The Lakers supposedly got a major upgrade.

Magic Johnson was a savior for LA.. doesnt mean I want him playing for the Lakers right now.
Fisher shouldve retired 3 years ago.

not TRASH, servicable and when he signed with GSW years ago everybody saw that he wasn't a PG and not a good SG either. He is product of the system and all his clutch shots came mostly due to him getting tourched on the other end. He had flashes of good games, like gm 5 of 2010 final and his most memerable playoff stretch was 2000-2001 where he shots lights out from 3's.

If Kobe doesnt miss that game Saturday and the Lakers beat the Suns, then their record without Fisher would go to 9-5 (.642).. Your using WAY too small of a sample size.
