Lakers fans turned on Fisher before he left. we will always remember and appreciate what he did, but we have been wishing for his trade for a while.

Also, lol at the 'Retired jersey' thing.
.
As I said, people love this morale and veteran crap. The guy won 5 rings and has a story of more than 10 years with the lakers, so they should retire his jersey.
.
A 11 PER average guy

I feel like he will give you 18 pts-20 pts vs. 23-25 pts next year on 57 ts% instead of 54%. He also costs 10 million dollars less. So it is a wash.

Agreed, a new option - sucking. OKC never had to deal with a guy with NEGATIVE PER before, so that's a new thing.
.
If they win a championship with Fisher, they might be the greatest champions ever.
.
What I'd really like to know is this - If fisher was hired just to be a counselor (funny reason to pay 1 million dollars for a player, having stories and giving advices) and a veteran experience, why play him so much? I mean, we all know he is one of the top 10 worse players, and people say he was hired NOT BECAUSE OF HIS QUALITY, but his experience, so WHY PLAY HIM SO MUCH THAT HE HURTS THE TEAM?;
.
It doesn't make sense, Scott Brooks

Let the guy tell his stories about how he won so much as a role player or shout from the bench with young players - if you really believe that this will make them play better - but don't play him.

Bynum has not been quiet - so Lakers still lost something.
Lakers are 22-3 in OT last 6 seasons:Kobe best OT closer!
Kobe only SG in NBA history to lead his team in assists for 10 seasons.

Lakers fans don't hate fisher as a player, we just think in 2012 this year he's a terrible basketbal player. We aren't blind to the truth just because we love the guy. I'm a big fan of what he did for us and would always cheer for him when he comes to staples in an OKC uniform.

He's played decent but can't tell if the champ swag is working. He should get his numbered retired. So clutch at some many times

I think Derek's been playing his role fine. OKC is better off having him on the roster than not, pretty obviously.

When you have Westbrook as your starting PG, having Fisher is fine for the 15-20 minutes he plays.

Hey...he's the one who got the steal at the end of game 2. Its not his fault the stars couldn't finish...

At this point in his career, old man Fisher has exactly two moves in his offensive arsenal.
1)Immediately defer to Durant, Harden, Westbrook
2)Shoot open 3's
Because of his extremely limited offensive talents, Fish does #1 (get the ball in the hands of OKC's deadly scoring and playmaking threats) far more than he does #2 and, even better, he likes it that way. That simple fact is the reason why Fisher is more valuable to this team than a middle-tier combo guard with better skills. Put anyone else in Fish's place and OKC's big three get the ball less.
