Someone mentioned this at the Nets forum, but with Jay-Z part of the design, it looks like the logo looks better on apparel than as an actual NBA logo.

I always find it funny when Knicks fans call the Nets "the Clippers of NY", which implies that the Knicks are "the Lakers of NY".

The Knicks are nothing close to the Lakers.

The "Lakers of NY" have now lost 11 straight playoff games over a 12 year period.

I'd definitely change the name. Brooklyn Nets sounds like Brooklynettes, which is going to get them compared the the Rockettes. "The Nets of Brooklyn" comes off as tougher than the Brooklynettes.

Hands down the worst logo in the league. There is nothing enticing about it. Nothing.

Nah bobcats is much worse. I actually don't mind the alt logo. Main one kinda sucks.

The amount of swag is ridiculous. From the tees to the caps to the court, simply looks fresh.

Brooklyn Dodgers are very protective over that trademark...wouldn't let them use it.
