No, it is because it takes a lot of time to fly East to West or West to East. It is like this in every NBA Finals and this question always comes up in the NBA Finals. OKC is close to Miami though, it's not like LA to NY but still, it's West vs. East.

It would be funny if it was a Chicago vs. Minnesota Finals.

Question to those who watch OKC a lot:
What does KD do when his jumper isn't falling? (Does it even happen?)
Is he good enough a driver to consistently drive to the hoop against a stronger defender like LBJ?

It's because of ratings. Don't be naive.

Yes. It isn't like travel by air takes the same as travel by train..

Tuesdays, Thursday, and Sundays are the three big rating days for television in the US. It has been a staple for the past thirty plus years for big time shows to anchor those nights for comedy or drama blocks (or sadly now, reality tv).

It is most assuredly for ratings.

The Heat have been the underdog all along, tying the series doesn't change that.

 what? How

According to the Vegas lines, and ESPN's Expert Picks, Miami is the underdog.

No. Did you see what he did in the first half. That's what happens when his shot doesn't fall. But í won't last long.

I wanted to post that GIF of Durant not being able to drive by LeBron on the last possession and missing his shot, but... then I remembered that realgm only makes fun of LeBron and that this GIF doesn't even exist. Silly me.

Wade has off/on again games?

And some believe Durant is better than LeBron. So its about even.

Yes, what does being strong have to do with driving past a player to get to the hoop/rim? Durant always finds ways to score whether it's aesthetic or not.

He's basically a RealGM poster that gets paid... people actually get up at 10 am to watch first take, and follow this guy on twitter... lmao... the only reason I keep seeing what he says because it's posted all over the site.

Ecnirp is obsessed with him, always posting his **** in the heat board

Well he's right about everything in those tweets. Lebron's jumper is a glaring stat right now.

He only looks at the negatives, why isn't he talking about LeBrons post up game, he always spins anything with LeBron to a negative, hes TROLLING

Yes he has a job to do and yes it is mostly to be a professional troll, but he isn't wrong in any of those tweets.

One reason he goes so hard after Lebron is because there are people who take the stance that he's some sort of basketball god, so Skip just points out the holes/weaknesses.

He's said in the past he grades Lebron on a GOAT scale because that's what hes supposedly suppost to be. That's why he'll be harder on him than anyone else in the league currently. (and because it's his job)[/quote]

I disagree. I understood Skip being so hard on LeBron as a Cav. Even though there was more fault on the actual team. He said once LeBron went to Miami (and others have said as well) he gave up GOAT status by doing so. So he cant be judged anymore on the Michael Jordan status/curve. Skip and others (even I agree) said that. He calls DWade the "BATMAN" on that team. He said DWADE will carry the Heat and LeBron to a couple titles. So if thats the case...why such harsh judgment on LeBron. Dont get me wrong...he's flawed...but he really does nitpick. Seems to me that he has to keep reaching in order to come up with a topic for a show. For example, he called LeBron the MVP over Rose at the midway point last year. But yet this year said LeBron going to Miami disqualified him? :-?

For instance, and really believe LeBron watched too much damn TV last year, LeBron listened to Skip.
LeBron closed the Boston/Chicago series....Skip brushed it aside. When LeBron choked game 2 away..Skip destroyed LeBron. I honestly think he felt the HEat of everyone saying, "DWADE should be closing." or as SKip said....LeBron needs to play PG.

So what you do know? Game 3 against the Mavs? LeBron plays PG in game 3, racks up 10+ assists and looks hesitant to shoot. It worked one game. The next 3 games led to LeBron playing that style and looking like a f**king lame to end the series. No aggressiveness. Just looking to pass and facilitate. Complete opposite of himself against Boston/Chicago. He went out like a chump letting the media influence him. He even admitted the media got to him.

Once they lost playing like that (The EXACT STYLE OF BALL SKIP SAID LEBRON SHOULD PLAY) Thats when he started calling him the Frozen One. When basically deferring to DWADE.

Skip knows what he's doing. LeBron, last year, was just to weak to fall for it. (that and good a** defense from the Mavs  )
