Not really - The Lakers were coming off of a 34-win season under Rudy T and had just traded Caron Butler for Kwame Brown when Jackson took over.
How many games did Kobe miss due to injury that season though?

Yeah the same place Kobe has led you to a 1-8 record in the last two years.

Point being with lakers getting LESS talented, it certainly wasn't risk free as suggested.
Speak the truth, but leave immediately after.

Kobe missed a lot of games that season and played the rest injured. There's a reason why his scoring jumped up 8ppg the next year

I checked the wrong season, their record with him wasn't that good, so you're right

Kobe missed 16 games that season, a rarity. In 2007 they went 42-40 and made the playoffs with Smush Parker and Walton starting. Kobe was pretty much the only reason they didn't lose at least 45 games because their roster sucked. Bynum also missed a ton of games that year.

He's just mad because Dolan is the only owner that would pay him the $10 million per year that he wants.

 @ Phil going to OKC and them paying him the money he will demand. They might not even keep the players that they drafted, let alone shell out big bucks on a coach like PJ.
