As much as I want to see him back, I'd really hate to see him try to come back and fail to succeed. You know, like I'd hate to seem him look really bad out there and mess up his knee even more. I mean, he probably knows more than anyone else if he's capable, but he could also be blinded by how much he loves the game.

Some of you guys just don't understand the hunger and drive of some professional athletes. These guys have been playing their prospective sports almost all of their lives and to have what you would do for free, cut short ... yeah ...you guys gotta walk in their shoes to understand. He's an idiot if he doesn't go to Phoenix. Look what they've done to Grant Hill, Michael Redd, etc. They are the reason Steve Nash's career has been so long too. I'm sure they'd be able to resurrect Roy's career. I really want Roy to return, as long as it doesn't screw up his life post-NBA. I remember Roy retired because a doctor told him he'd end up not walking if he kept playing injured.
