Both Nash and Rose need the ball in their hands to be effective. Pretty sure it'll cause problems.

Nash won't sign a one year deal either so how does this make sense? It's as if Bulls fans are just thinking about it from the Bulls standpoint and saying it fits, instead of how Nash would feel about it.

Why would he come off the bench? When Rose comes back he could move to his natural position, SG, & let Nash continue to run the offense.. I don't think we'll see anyone ringchasing on a team with a superstar that may never be healthy again though

STEVE NASH predictions: Where will he / should he end up?

Being underpaid for much of his career I see Nash staying in Phoenix after signing a 3yr 25-30 million deal

I'd like to see him in Utah. The big men getting fed from Nash, and even young guys shining a lot more due to Nash's facilitating habilities.

Enough to win a tittle? I still don't think so...

So for him, the best choices would be Miami or Lakers. Sorry Bulls fans but it doesn't make any sense for him to go to Chicago if he wants to start. Rose was MVP as a PG and when he comes back he'll still be a PG.

I think it will be a toss-up between Dallas and Toronto. :-?

But word is that he really wants to go to Miami. :(

He should sign with the Heat.

Best case scenario for the Heat it.
Spend the MLE on a center, also draft a Center.

Then sign Nash for the vet min if he is willing to take that.

PG: Nash
SG: Wade
SF: Lebron
PF: Bosh
C: FA/Anthony/Draft Pick

Then it's not 4, not 5 but 6 rings

He wont be willing to take it, but the Suns have talked about S&T opportunity, that way Nash gets more money, opening it up for teams close to or exceeding the salary cap, and allowing the Suns to get something in return.

With the Heat, i could see the Suns asking for Chalmers and a future 1st.

Indiana makes the most basketball sense unless he wants to just ring-hop. He could make a real difference in Indiana and they could be a trendy pick to win it all.

i do not want him in toronto. it'd be a great story for us but we need to develop our squad without a very gifted but very old pg.

i've said it before, my guess is if he goes anywhere he'll end up in dallas.

Los Manos wrote:I think there is little doubt he signs in Toronto this summer for a number of reasons.

- The Raptors will be on his doorstep at 12:01 offering a 3 year contract at $8-10 million per.
- He was named GM of Canada Basketball a month ago which is based in Toronto.
- He will be able to cash in with nationwide endorsement deals.
- While not from Toronto, it is a city that he enjoys as it shares many similar attributes with New York, his off-season home.
- He will be given assurances of a position within the organisation after he retires.

Dallas have an outside shot but for them he will be a back-up FA option after DW which nobody wants to be. Chicago/Miami/LA etc.. will only be able to offer the MLE.

I think the commitment Toronto makes to Steve Nash and the desire to make him their primary free agent target will make a big difference. That he loves the city, already has another job there and is in his home country will all factor in too.

This^^^^none of the teams mentioned here have the capspace to sign Nash, and no he's not going to chase a ring for any "contenders". Toronto with reasons said above is clearly the no.1 contender, the only other team that can sign him outright is Phoenix, but Sarver is moving into another direction, Nash will be coureted by Colangelo the minute FA starts, that's a guarantee.
