I think there is little doubt he signs in Toronto this summer for a number of reasons.

- The Raptors will be on his doorstep at 12:01 offering a 3 year contract at $8-10 million per.
- He was named GM of Canada Basketball a month ago which is based in Toronto.
- He will be able to cash in with nationwide endorsement deals.
- While not from Toronto, it is a city that he enjoys as it shares many similar attributes with New York, his off-season home.
- He will be given assurances of a position within the organisation after he retires.

Dallas have an outside shot but for them he will be a back-up FA option after DW which nobody wants to be. Chicago/Miami/LA etc.. will only be able to offer the MLE.

I think the commitment Toronto makes to Steve Nash and the desire to make him their primary free agent target will make a big difference. That he loves the city, already has another job there and is in his home country will all factor in too.

Yes.

In any case.

Nash deserves a ring. I'd also like the Pacers to get a ring. So, Nash to Pacers makes the most sense to me :D

I really want him to go to Miami for aesthetic reasons. The Heat's offense is pretty ugly right now, but could be absolutely beautiful if Nash came in and ran the show.

I'd actually like to see all the old farts like KG, Allen, Nash, and Oden sign on there.

Nash/Chalmers/Cole
Wade/Allen
LeBron/Battier
Bosh/Haslem
KG/Anthony/Oden

It'd be entertaining to watch whether you're a Miami fan or not.

The Bulls & Pacers both make sense.. I don't see how people shoot the Lakers down though. I think we would be his best chance at a ring while being a star player still.. He would have to change his game up alot in OKC or Miami. & in Chicago there's no guarantee he plays with another elite player, we don't know when Rose will return or how good he'll be.. The attempted CP3 trade shows that we'll take the ball out of Kobe's hands if we can land a dominant PG.. Pau can be traded for pieces to fit the offense & Nash can run the offense to perfection.. Kobe, Bynum, MWP, Sessions, LO, + young slashers/shooters for Pau.. Nash can win now with that team while still putting up all star numbers.. I personally think it's an insult to offer him the mini MLE though.. S&T for 2 years 11M with the 2nd optional.. We'd need a pick to package with the TPE

Outside of the fact that this couldn't happen, why exactly would this be entertain for anyone who isn't a Miami fan?

If the Knicks win the bird rights, he's a Knick.

If they don't, its going to be either Mavs, Lakers, or Magic.

I keep seeing people say Nash to the Bulls makes sense.. Please explain it to me. Why would Nash sign with a team where he'll end up coming off the bench? Nash won't sign a one year deal either so how does this make sense? It's as if Bulls fans are just thinking about it from the Bulls standpoint and saying it fits, instead of how Nash would feel about it.

we the bulls would be playing a two pg system. Nash could limit his min as much as he wants in the reg season.
