Seriously. Bulls fans come out of nowhere with this "I was a huge fan when Jordan played" sh*t. Yeah? I was a fan when Eddie Robinson played, where were you. /rant
I know right! I always give those so called "Bulls fans" a test. I usually ask them to tell me what numbers did Eric Piatkowski and Luke Shenscher wear while they were on the team. I was a fan even during those times so I feel where you're coming from.

Lions #1 even when they suck.
And then whoever is the best at the moment, or makes a big FA signing/trade, comes next.
In other words, when the Pistons suck no one talks about them on talk radio/sports tv shows, etc. If they are good they get love, but only after the Lions.
in '08 the Lions went 0-16, the Pistons won 59 games and went to the ECF, but more attention was on the Lions. Definitely a football town.

Brewers rule Milwaukee.

Rules Wisconsin. And the rest of the country.
In response to Kate Upton being the SI Swimsuit cover girl for the 2nd straight year.

It's pretty much Bears over everything though. Football is just #1 in America and Chicago is a football town. Heck, I'm even a bigger football fan than basketball. As much as I hate to admit it, those sorry Cubs, of whom I despise are a close #2. Whitesox all day though!!

Uhmmm....no they don't. Haven't you heard of America's team? As much as I hate the Cowboys, you and me both know that they're more popular than the Packers.

Speaking of the Lions on a basketball forum, there was a good article on NFL.com by an NFL analyst callingthe Lions the OKC Thunder of the NFL.
He equated Durant to Megatron, Westbrook to Stafford, and Harden to Suh, in terms of a young Big 3 of stars built through high draft picks, now finally paying off after years of losing. I thought it was pretty accurate comparison.

It's tough to say considering Oakland, San Francisco and San Jose are so close to each other and also the diverse amount of sports teams. I'd say the 49ers by a slim margin over the Raiders. Giants by a landslide over the A's. Everyone could appreciate the Warriors and the Sharks because those teams don't really have rivals.

Too bad the Thunder isn't a team full of knuckle-heads that can't seem to stay out of trouble with either the law or their leagues' respective Commissioner.

They're more like third to be honest.
1.Bears
2.Cubs
3.Bulls
4.Whitesox
5.Blackhawks
4 & 5 could be swapped though because of bandwagon Hawks fans.

You sound just like the Bears fans I was just reading comments from on the article page, lol.
The top 3 comments on the article are from "Bears6148" and are all marked "comment abusive and removed" lol
btw, Calvin and Stafford are two of the best character guys in the league and are the faces of the team. Even Montana and Rice had knuckle-heads on their team. You can't define the whole team by the role players.
