Why is Mario Chalmers chewed out every 10 minutes?

Postby AmazingJason on Sat Jun 16, 2012 11:22 pm

Maybe I'm imagining things, but it seems like every 10 minutes or so, Mario Chalmers gets chewed out by a teammate - it can be LeBron, Wade or Bosh. It's peculiar because he seems like a decent role player, especially for a guy drafted in the 2nd round. He plays decent defense, is a good 3-point shooter, plays within himself for the most part, doesn't pull any immature antics, and isn't afraid to take and make a big shot. It's his 4th season already - he isn't some rookie - and it was his best one statistically. So why all the yelling?

he's an arrogant kid and doesnt know his place. the incident you refer to when bosh chewed him out was because mario made a horrible decision, bosh told him what was up, and mario lipped him off. then bosh chewed him out. always hated mario because of that **** attitude.

They probably feel he could contribute so much more if he didn't smoke so much damn weed.

His personality dictates it. Doesn't always take things as seriously as he should.

He is in person too. Everytime he comes home he charges little kids for autographs and pretty much acts like a dick to everyone who says high. One of my friends said he and his friends balled with chalmers and he sucked ass. (He was actually trying hard).

He was cocky before there ever was a big 3.

lol I noticed this too. Anytime something goes wrong they blame Chalmers. He's their whipping boy.

do you guys watch the games? this guy is worse then Bibby almost. At least Bibby was just old. Chalmers is fat, lazy and cant make a simple pass. Finally why does he always foul players on threes it happens twice a game.

Wade, LeBron, and Bosh all know he can handle the criticism or that he will only listen if they do. Mario has really high confidence in his game and does make some bone-headed moves, but he is always pushing his limits and that's what is making his game improve so much. Now we see Chalmers attack the rim aggressively keeping defense honest on his spot-up shooting.

he also dribbled baseline into the defense twice resulting in a turnover both times. Got chewed out by bron and wade. then he preceded to pass the ball into the stands on a wade fast break.

I normally don't hate or criticize players, but Chalmers is one of the top 3 players I can't stand.

I honestly think he feels he should be on the same pedestal as Wade, Bron and Bosh; just the way he carries himself on the court and the way he talks to teammates he should listen to lead me to believe this.

I mean, he has been reliable with timely baskets in these playoffs, but I just can't stand his attitude and cockiness from a role player like him.
Wolves fan first. Clippers fan distant second.

On the "Get a shooting guard" bandwagon
