I dunno, it seems like people always jump all over the high volume guys, but Anthony Davis' small sample is overwhelmingly more impressive than anything else thus far.

This. The other rookies will need a miracle (injury) to catch Davis production.

We'll see, I think Davis will not win ROY, Too raw offensively and not a great defender yet

What in the?

Hmmm not really the proper use of that but anyways...

Davis has been very very good offensivly and is easily the best rookie defender in the NBA... Does that answer your questions

'
He has been very good offensively in what, 2 games? He IS raw, very raw. Doesn't have a post game and his shoot is really inconsistent. And being the best rookie defender (debatable by the way, this isn't college anymore and nba is another world) doesn't make him a great defender in the nba. Has the potential but isn't there yet

Have you watched him play a lot this year? You can't have, because he's been pretty polished for a 19 rookie at his position.

I think you're just going off his college tape.

yes, I saw him and still think the same way, he had a nice couple of games but you will see a lot of games like the one from yesterday, specially if his teammates aren't providing him with easy baskets, which is basically the only way he can score consistently at the moment

Is last night the only time you have seen him? Because his jumper has been fine.

He's even shooting like 81% from the line.

Dude, he is 3 of 11 from mid range so far. How is that fine?

Umm, he's 5/12 from 16-23 feet(0-5 from 10-15 feet, and 3-5 from 3-9 feet). 82% from the line. His jumper will not be an issue at all. overall, he' 8/22 away from the rim.

He's been a force on defense already. 2.8 blocks in 27 minutes(3.6 blocks, 2 steals and only 2 fouls per 36 minutes), 94 defensive rating.

He is very clutch and glad to see him get some great minutes this game and see what he can do with the minutes, a BEAST :)

Lol.

One of the reasons nobody really paid attention to Davis' offensive game is that he was used primarily as a finisher at UK, IIRC.

So when he's handed the keys as a first/second option he then shows off his face-up game. He's ahead of the curve than most people thought.

Where do you get those numbers? because that's just wrong

http://www.nba.com/advancedstats/player ... 3;season=r

3-11 from mid range

And about his defense, still has a long way to go. He is a beast protecting the rim, but his post man to man defense isn't there yet, reminds me of Ibaka, great shot blocker but average post defender

Barnes looks very good for GSW. He's not going to put up gaudy stats because of his role this year but he looks to be a legit NBA player.

Drummond with 10 points on 5/6 shooting with a couple blocks, three rebounds and a steal. Naturally, he only got 15 minutes.

Followed up his 19 point, 13 rebound game with 18 points and 9 rebounds on 8/15 shooting tonight in the win.

Barnes looks impressive and aggressive. Putting the ball on the floor, collecting rebounds, some glimpses of a post game. Wow.

He's also made a crucial shot this game when he drove to the basket and swooped in for the layup. Hope he continues being aggressive because I see him being a very good player.

Shved's also balling. A 3-point shot, handles, playmaking at 6'5. I can't wait for that Shved-Rubio backcourt :o

Great game by Lillard tonight, very clutch

Most of his points came in the last few minutes of the 4th and OT

Damian Lillard 27 points 5 rebounds 5 assists

Anybody in there still thinks he has no chance of beating Davis for the ROY?
