OT: Official RealGM NBA 2K13 Draft League (360)

Note to mods: I understand there's a games board, but unfortunately there's not enough traffic there to get the league filled up. We ran a league through this board last year and it allowed us to get the full 30 team league necessary, we'll keep it all in one thread

Difficulty: Superstar
Level: Simulation (Shot sliders at 48, contact sliders dialed back from 100 to 90, tested and it's awesome)
Quarter length: 8 minutes
Schedule style: Flex
Playoff style: 3-3-5-5

There are no strict set rules, but just play real basketball. Don't zone the entire game, don't take 50 shots with one player, don't continue to abuse a single move (eg. the post drive), don't score 90% of your points in the paint, etc. I'm confident that people around here have a good sense of what basketball looks like, spread the ball around, drive and kick, hit some step back Js, use all the weapons the game gives you!

If you like to lead pass under the basket, pump fake 20 times and dunk it, we'll probably kick you. That's just no fun to play against, so have respect for your opponent. Other than that, just have fun and try to make the playoffs!

I don't mind taking commish duties, but I'll need some admins as well. If NYK 455 aka ShogunCipher is joining up he can help me out, ditto CGC or MAQ. League vets will get some priority here.

I'm aiming for Sunday night for the draft, maybe tomorrow if we can get it filled up in time. You guys can give me feedback on that once we're full.

This is only a 29 game season and the mode actually works this year, so I'd like to do multiple seasons. Admins have the option to advance weeks and reset games, there should be no issues finishing a few seasons.

How do you know? We had plenty of success in 2k11 when we last had a flex schedule.

People lost interest in 2k12 quickly because of the limited schedule, it was a horribly designed mode.

Yeah I'm not worried about that this year. All 29 games will be open immediately after the draft, you only had 5-6 available after the draft last year and then a ton of time between games opening.

It's back to 2k11 style leagues, just with more of an "association" aspect to it.
