No, that's not how it works. Boston wasn't a stacked team last year just because they had a great shooter come off the bench. And I also find it hard to believe a team is "super stacked" when it doesn't even have a center to anchor the defense.

Not if the Heat keep losing to all the top teams. With that stacked team they need to win 60 games for Bron to get another MVP.
If Wade doesn't get himself right, that team isn't *that* stacked. i mean, its definitely good, but I wouldn't say miles ahead of other contenders like OKC or LA (if they get it together). Its basically Lebron, Bosh, and a bunch of dudes who primarily just exist to hit wide open 3 pointers.
If Ray Allen is coming off your bench then yes your team is stacked. Last years Heat team was stacked and this one is even better. Bron's not going to win the MVP every season without finally having the top seed on the most talented team in the NBA.
So Boston was stacked last year?

Just want to expound on the bolded here: LeBron has already had 4 very "clutch" plays this season.

vs. Denver: game-winning assist to Ray Allen.
vs. Atlanta: jumper w/ 13 seconds left to put the Heat up 4.
vs. Houston: drive w/ 18 seconds left to put the Heat up 1.
vs. Denver: assist to Cole to put the Heat up 4, then 2 free throws shortly after to ice the game.

Of course, the LeBron & the "unclutch" narrative was always overblown to begin with. Just one less thing that can be held against him this year.

Did Boston have Lebron, Wade, and Bosh on a team with great role players? Boston was an elite team but their stars are all pass their primes besides Rondo. Plus Ray Allen started for Boston until he got hurt.

LeBron is definitely the clear cut number 1 in the race this early after last night.
2nd would have to be Chris Paul based on how he has the Clippers playing thus far.

No, but right now its looking like Miami not have that either, if Wade can't get healthy.

I think the MVP rankings on nba.com are pretty dam accurate(at least the top 4).

1) LBJ
2) CP3
3) Melo
4) Durant

Looks good to me.

Cp3 deserved it last year, and will probably win it this year.

Unless Melo gets the Knicks to the #1 seed, then I could see the narrative being written for him to win.

Perhaps it's to counterbalance your never-ending profession of love and longing for LeBron? Yin and yang, etc.

It's not a counterbalance when I'm right and you're wrong.

LeBron is the MVP, there's no never-ending profession of love when that is just fact to anybody that has a pair of eyes and watches NBA games.
