Lin's job now is to pass the ball to the alpha dog and camps on the 3pt line, aka Derek Fisher

Derek Fisher is an awful defender. Jeremy Lin is a much better defender. It is one thing he is doing well this year

Lin has 6 assists. Too many to be a Derek Fisher.
But yea, Houston is killing Lin's value every day

The alpha/beta male dynamic naturally exists as a means of evolutionary survival in nature. Of course Lin is going to pass the ball off to the alpha (Harden). Harden is better at creating scoring opportunities for himself and for others. I'm not saying that Lin is bad in that regard, but why go with his seedless grapes when Harden has the superior seed.

His value to whom? They weren't going to trade him, he's most valuable to them playing a secondary role to Harden

Lin is actually a very good defender. Fisher has never been better defensively especially in his later years. There is a reason why every PG enjoyed playing against the Lakers including Lin himself.

Great rebuttal.
Is there any evidence that has shown that Lin is not a good defender or a worse defender? Or are you more so upset that I said Fisher is worse? Lin is one of the top 5 players in the league in steals and he has defended PGs pretty well this season. I don't know what is the issue.
