Hes only 19 and makes mistakes but he has to be allowed to play through the, it in the few games it seems Frank has upped his MPG now if we could just get him in there along side Monroe.

It really is something to see,put drummnd in the game we sart wining, take drmmond out for long stretches and we start losing.

Have Drummond and Monroe been on the court together yet?

A few minutes here and there but not enough time for them to mesh and build chemistry

Drummond is going to be special.

Pistons raped this draft. Drummond should have gone four at the latest.

Not sure if I see anything better than him this draft.

Lillard, MKG, Davis, and Barnes will all probably be better this year.

But Drummond's ceiling is frightening.

Im guessing the few that still still comment negative about Drummond have obviously never seen him play.

Weird timing for that post considering he just finished the night with 2 fouls and 3 combined points/rebounds/blocks/assists.

Should just rename this the Lillard/Drummond thread.

He's not a good rebounder like Jefferson or Boozer though.

How about some love for the leagues oldest rookie- Pablo Prigioni. Its interesting that in the past the rare eurovets who have come over have had a pretty poor go at it (i.e. Rigadeau, Jasikavicious) but Pablo has been pretty good so far.

Jorge Garbajosa was having a solid rookie season himself too, and then he had that freak accident.

Worth noting the much maligned rookies (so far), Beal and Rivers, had pretty respectable games.

Beal's still trying to find his shot, but he can sure fill up a stat sheet like he did in college.

EDIT: When MKG has huge amazing games and makes amazing plays that should be on sports center, the char. fans will show up.

Can't be as bad as some of the Drummond peeps. There was a dude who said he had a chance at GOAT center or something like that.

gonna go ahead and re-post this from the magic board, following andrew nicholson's 19pt, 9reb, 9-11 fg night against the suns:

doct3r dr3 wrote:someone alluded to this in another thread, but the advanced stats are loving nicholson right now. he leads the team in per, ts%, eFG%, o-rating, and winshares/48 min, and he's second only to j.j. in offensive winshares (o'quinn and turkoglu haven't played enough minutes to qualify).

beyond that, he leads all rookies in ts%:

and he's behind only drummond and davis in per:

...also, he's second only to o'quinn in plus/minus:

He needs to vastly improve his offensive game to compare to some of the greats at that position. He is behind them when they came into the league, although he is younger.

I mean, I suppose you could say that every young player has the potential to be the best ever at their position - but come on, that is a pretty ridiculous thing to say.
