In case others don't check the remaining posts, here's a video of Lillard's 28 points and 8 assists last night against the Wolves:

Motiejunas had 31pts(13/23fg) 8 rebs 3assists in his first dleague season game. I feel bad for him he is clearly NBA level talent but McHale doesnt give chance to prove it.

He needs to add 15 pounds though. McHale is an a$$hole but the Rockets are too stacked at PF and Dmo can't play C yet.

+ 100. Luke Harangody is absolutely horrible when he plays for the Cavs but then goes down in the D League and averages 25 and 15.....how is that even possible??

Andre the Giant doing work:

I was hoping that the rebounds and effort would be there, but I had no idea he would be so talented around the basket even as RAW as he still is. Brandon Knight said it best in his interview last night after the game. Saying that Dre has barely even scratched the surface of his talent to this point.

needs to get bigger and needs playing time in our system...both can get done in the d-league

he was outplayed by terrance jones during preseason and in practice and jones isn't getting much playing time...he would be buried on the end of the bench behind pat pat morris jones asik and smith

rockets usually play their rookies in the d-league for a while (parsons and jones are the exception not the rule)..d-mo will eventually get his shot

Jonas V and Drummond are probably the future premiere 5's of this league but will do their work in two very different ways. Drummond is a straight up freak athlete for his size, with good rebounding & blocking instincts. JV is just so skillful and has a nasty motor on the court. Both with tons of potential.

I'm so impressed with Drummond. I knew there was a reason I was screaming at my TV for Toronto to pick him when he dropped to 8th. I just don't understand how you blow that pick so bad. I'm really trying to make myself believe it wasn't cause of Bargnani, but knowing BC..

Well to be fair he was off the board before Portland could pick, unless you would rather swap Lillard for Drummond.

Obviously they could have potentially traded up to get that pick, but its not like he was still on the board when the 11th pick was slated.

With how Dwane Casey has decimated the confidence of NBA ready rookie Terrence Ross, I almost feel relieved that we allowed him to flourish on another team. He made Ed Davis from looking like a potential borderline all star PF that can anchor a defense, rebound the hell out of the ball, and score in all ways, to a guy that can only rebound.

And this isn't an apologist post, because I actually do want to see Drummond succeed, if only to prove me right that he's going to be great

I'm so happy Sacramento didn't draft Drummond. That would have been a travesty.

As a Cavs fan, I'm also glad the Cavs took ball-dominant Waiters over Drummond too! Also with them picking pogo-stick Tristan Thompson over Valanciunas! What a relief

Not sure if you're really supporting the Tristan pick over Valanciunas or whether it is sarcasm on top of sarcasm

I like Leonard but on draft day I really wanted Drummond, I wish Toronto did Portland a favour and traded down their pick so we could take drummond, it's not like T.Ross wasn't gonna be there at 11

A lineup of :

Lillard
Matthews
Batum
Aldridge
Drummond

crazy.

Man I would have added pretty much anything outside of those 5 players if Toronto had done that deal. An unprotected future pick if possible, take some salary off their hands, I dunno but it would have been would worth it to move ahead of the Pistons.
