Waiters' jumper looks so much better when he goes straight up.

Dude hes averaging 17ppg on 46/37/87 with 2 assists and 2 rebounds a game halfway through his 3rd month as a pro. It wasn't just because Jimmer was on him in the 4th.

And in that game he scored 33 points.

He didn't score them all in the 4th quarter. Not even a majority

Beal wins his games so far, so I guess it goes to him.

Holy ****, that Ross dunk was incredible. He jumps from the other side of the restricted area.

you're exaggerating by using a smaller sample size that makes him look a lot better then he has been:

* he is actually averaging 14.8 points - 2.4 rebs - 3.2 assists - 2.0 turnovers

* he's shooting .385 on FG's and .331 on three's, and he is only averaging 14.8 points on 14.4 FG attempts

* he has a PER of 12.8 and a TS% of .471

* he has an offensive rating of 98 on a team that has an offensive rating of 103. And he has a defensive rating of 111 on a team that has a defensive rating of 109. In other words, he performs worse on both ends of the floor then the team that has the 2nd worst record in the entire league.

If these were season long numbers for any player other then a rookie, he'd be considered a low efficiency chucker who plays bad defense

and just using the 'he's-playing-better-now' argument in a thread comparing rookies isn't saying much. Most rookies tend to play better as they adjust to the league

But I also didn't single out Jimmer. The Kings allowed Waiters to split the defense a lot of times in that video alone. That's a big failure to making adjustments.

We should have had Tyreke checking him throughout the game, but that's too much for Coach Smart I guess to figure out he needs one of his best perimeter defenders on a the other teams best scorer.

Surely when Tyreke goes perfect from the field and has a great game, that's exactly the time to bench him and forget he exists. Solid coaching right there.
