As of RIGHT NOW, I think it will be:

West:

Paul - Westbrook
Bryant - Curry - Harden
Durant - Gay
Griffin - Randolph - Love
Howard - Duncan

East:

Rondo - Felton - Holiday
Wade - Johnson - Williams
James - Deng
Anthony - Smith
Bosh - Horford

LolWade. Gay makes it because his wing competition is literally tragic. Tony Parker, OJ Mayo, and Marc Gasol were a toss-up for the 12th spot, but Memphis already has 2 All-stars with this conception and Parker's team is winning games. Not sure if Kyrie will get enough time in to be a factor, if so he starts. Can't pick between Chandler and Noah

Western Conference Starters: Westbrook, Bryant, Durant, Duncan, Howard
Reserves: Paul, Harden, Parker, Gay, Love, Griffin, Randolph

Eastern Conference Starters: Rondo, Holiday, James, Anthony, Lopez
Reserves: Williams, Irving, Wade, Pierce, Bosh, Garnett, Chandler/Noah

I'm a Sixers fan, but for some reason, I never expected Holiday to be such a consensus all star this early in his career. He's the same age as Damian Lillard, fwiw. That said, I don't think he would be starting. Wade will still be starting as far as I can see. Starters are about popularity and Holiday has a ways to go in that department.

RA Dickey wrote:how on earth could all you posters justify blake over zbo, and someone even had the nerve to put love in front of him after missing all that time

blake 17.5ppg 8.9rpg 51.3%fg (60% of his fg's are assisted)
zbo.. 17.7ppg 13.3rpg 48.7%fg (55% of his fg's are assisted)

we all know blake and dwight will get voted in (all star game is a circus/joke so who cares), but zbo and duncan is the correct answer

If I vote, I´ll never take on Griffin... But this thread isn´t about "who you vote" and I´m sure Griffin will make the Starting Five, as well as D-12!

Lee is putting up 17.6/10.7/3.8 in 37.5 MPG, team is doing well. Blake is putting up similar numbers in 5 less MPG, team is doing well. What is Lee's case exactly? Doesn't matter as Blakewill go in as a sstarter, but still, just curious.

Lee is putting 18.2/10.9/3.7, while Griffin is putting up 17.6/9.1/3.2 thats 0.6 point and 1.8 rebounds less.
Yes i do agree that they are pretty similar, but Lee has been slightly better imo, but we all know that fans will vote Griffin, all im saying is that Lee deserves some respect at least.

This is what I think the teams will realistically look like, not what I want but what I think will happen:

Rondo/Deron/Holiday
Wade/Johnson
LeBron/Pierce
Melo/Horford
Bosh/Noah/Varejao

West:
CP3/Westbrook/Curry
Kobe/Harden
Durant
Griffin/Z-Bo/Love
Howard/Duncan/Marc

Numbers hadn't updated from last night when I posted. Griffin is putting up slightly lesser numbers but playing 5 less MPG, minutes equals more production, we saw it the past two seasons when he played more minutes. Clippers are getting leads with his help on both ends, and that allows him to sit on the bench in the 4th sometimes.

Per 36:
Griffin: 19.2 / 10.0 / 3.5 / .545
Lee: 17.4 / 10.5 / 3.5 / .543

Lee should get some respect, but what does that have to do with saying Lee > Griffin? Anyways, it will be hard for him, but I'd put him, Blake and Randolph in over LaMarcus Aldridge at the moment, for sure, Aldridge hasn't done anything impressive to be honest. Love also, but just so far because he's played half as many games as the other guys and isn't yet back in terms of shooting.

For what he's been doing this year so far, I think Lopez deserves the nod. I think he would have a much better chance of making it if they didn't do away with the center spot. If he comes back from his 4 game absence and continues to put up 18-20/6-8 a game, I think he definitely deserves it.

Curry is playing well, but Parker is playing too well for Curry to kick him off. 18/3/7/.550 in 32 MPG on on of the top teams? I really like what Curry is doing, and I actually like the Warriors doing well, but Parker is going to make it unless he starts sucking or Curry explodes and does some crazy stuff until the AS break.

Parker: 18.7 PPG on 50/33/78 shooting, 7.3 APG, 3.1 RPG, 0.7 SPG, 20.05 PER
Curry: 19.6 PPG on 43/44/90 shooting, 6.5 APG, 3.9 RPG, 1.8 SPG, 19.36 PER

I think somebody from the Warriors should make it, why not Curry?

If he's going to make it, it won't be over Parker. Parker is doing that in 32 mins, Curry in 37. They are basically producing the same, Parker a little better, but Parker's on the Spurs, and unless you are producing better, the guy on the better team will get the nod most of the time.

If it were up to me both of them would make it with Harden not making it but Harden's pretty much a lock to make the ASG unfortunately.

Any chance of 1 of either Ellis, Jennings, or Felton making the East guards?
