I'm guessing he wasn't allowed to do any cardio during his injury. Makes sense that he put on some weight. He should get rid of it pretty quickly now that he's allowed to practice and do cardio. Plus, early 20 year olds don't have the best diets, mix those two factors together and it's no surprise he put on a little weight.
