Glad i'm not the only one who caught it. Nice move by KG acknowledging the situation, kind of disappointed by Pierce going to the locker room, to be honest.

KG has known McHale since he was a rookie. More than half of his NBA career was spent near McHale and likely, KG knew his daughter as well. There's more here than just a random player paying his respects.

Man the Pistons may have tried a different defender after Johnson scored on every iso every time out of the time outs for the last possession shots.

Still think the Pistons were robbed and should have won in OT with that shotclock fiasco.

I also do not understand the hate on Gerald Wallace. He played his heart out and put his body on the line out there. There are very few players who play harder than he does.

No way the Pistons would've won that game. Not on the refs' watch.

He'd would be the perfect fit to play the four in D'Antoni's offense. It's a longshot, but I wouldn't completely rule out a Pau-Love trade.

I would.

So pissed off right now. I can't even put it into words...

Does anyone want Greg Monroe? Dude plays with no heart and has no clutch gene whatsoever in him.

And what the heck is up with Andre Drummond rotting on the bench for the entire 2 overtimes?

What's up with limiting Drummond?

That's the 1st I've watched him and he looks great. I thought Detroit would be playing him along with Monroe.

Those two free throws were awful by Monroe, he nearly missed rim on the 2nd shot

That school shooting is about the sickest thing I've heard. I feel really badly about it and feel like life just going on isn't all that proper. Don't know what else to do but there are some strong emotions to work through.

I can't imagine what the families of the victims and even the parents of those kids are going through.
Bye bye Beal.

At least for those you had assets. You have nothing now. No draft picks, no prospects, nothing.

[GR] wrote:Another game costing rebound that Maxiell couldn't get

Maxiell had 2 rebs in 38 min. Drummond had 9 in 18 min. I don't fault Frank for staying with Maxiell though as the starting 5 did get it to the very end of 2OT against a good team. So I understand going with the unit thats working. You wonder if Pistons could've had the victory sooner though if Drummond were playing instead. 1 reb or block here or there could've been the difference in such a close game.

Still it was a great game and I saw lots of progress from the young Pistons tonight in their quest to learn how to close out games. They are getting very close to getting over the hump, and great exp for Knight/Monroe to play in a 2OT game in a hostile building/playoff atmosphere.

Joe Johnson just has no mercy on the Pistons no matter what uniform he's wearing.

Agreed I just had so many emotions flowing through me this morning. I was mad and sad at the same time. Never felt that way before.
