Its obvious that the Kobe/Dwight dynamic would be troublesome. Dwight has the same personality as Shaq except he's much more sensitive. He's probably ticked off at getting the cold shoulder from Kobe to "hang out" a couple times. Kobe is an anti-social dick that feels he is better than everyone else, Dwight should have known this long ago.

Its startling how you're able to draw up such definitive conclusions of peoples personal lives whom you've never met, much less have or will ever be apart of. I feel like I've learned more about you in your brief rant than the wisdom you've deluded yourself into thinking you've bestowed upon us.

If Dwight and Smith both signed with Atlanta this summer, the Hawks can trade Horford for a good piece.

I guess the Dwight quote by ESPN is a product of this heated exchange.

Yeah, seems like BS. I'm sure the Daily News is a great source however.

Isola and Bondy don't mess around. Those are the folks at the New York Post.

The Dwight ship has passed for the Nets, but it's pretty crazy if Kobe and Howard really went at it like that.

Dwight should probably rest until he gets to 100%, because he hasn't been good this year, imo, and he's opening himself up to massive criticism if he's going to play through injury and not play well.

And if he sits, Pau can go back to being the main post threat, and it might serve to get his head out of his ass.

Kobe is shooting way too much with more players capable to contribute. Whatever the problems they had with Bynum (or Gasol) will be similar to problems they will have with Howard. Kobe being the first and the second options himself, the rest can share the leftovers...

OP... you forgot to post the best part

"Howard was restrained from going at his teammate, according to the source, and there have been rumblings from the center’s camp that he’s been unhappy with Bryant since earlier in the season"

Howard to ATL or BRKLYN.

A league source told the Daily News that the Lakers stars got into a heated exchange following a New Year’s Day loss to the 76ers, and Bryant went for a low blow – referencing and agreeing with Shaquille O’Neal’s criticisms of Howard being soft.

Howard was restrained from going at his teammate, according to the source, and there have been rumblings from the center’s camp that he’s been unhappy with Bryant since earlier in the season.

Just looking at that photo in the article, I thought Prokhorov was rich? He's got the coach acting as the waterboy as well as coach?

winning solves everything, but unfortunately for the lake show they are not going to be getting too much of that.

Jarrod N Rudolph

For those wondering, I was told on Thursday that the rumor of a Dwight-Kobe altercation was nothing more than talk.

I also know of two other reporters that were made aware of the rumor last week and also told the story wasn't true when they looked into it. about 3 hours ago

Ramona Shelburne @ramonashelburne

Two Lakers sources have adamantly shot down the reported Dwight/Kobe incident. One said, "it's simply not true."

Lakers sources? So people from within the organization? No surprise they shot the report down quickly. I'd be surprised if there wasn't a lot of arguing going on in that locker room or any other locker room in the league.

Howard to ATL is gonna gain a lot of traction. Makes a lot of sense.

It's like Kobe and Shaq all over again.
