I don't know when that picture was taken but that's not good for a franchise player

Cause well, RealGM taught me that Derrick Rose is John Wall's floor.

Really? When was that?

Wall's rookie season, before draft as well.

He'll lose that in no time. Athletes that get hurt naturally gain weight, but they lose it quickly because of muscle memory. Another example of muscle memory is MMA. A lot of fighters bloat up when they're not fighting, but they can go back to being ripped in within a few months because of muscle memory.

Basketball players eat a ton of food while going through high-level physical activities everyday.

You simply don't cut off your eating habits the moment you got injured. So imagine them eating a lot while not doing anything. This is why boxers gain a lot of weight as well.

That's no excuse. Have you seen Derrick Rose?

You know boxers/fighters dehydrate themselves to make weight right? They gain the water weight back immediately after the weigh-ins.

He had a knee injury. Not being in shape is excusable. As long as he works his way back into shape when he comes back.

No it's not. You can maintain/lose weight without exercising. His diet is terrible, especially for a professional athlete.

B-b-b-but........HAVE YOU SEEN DERRICK ROSE??

Christ, the insecurity of Rose fans is hilarious.

Even their leg injuries are reason for some silly competition.

I'm not even talking about that. I do follow boxing a lot. What I'm talking about is when they're inactive. See Eric Morales and Ricky Hatton is notorious for this.

Im guessing he couldnt do much stuff like running etc with his injury but you can always hit the pool and get your diet right.

But liek someone said he'll lose it in no time.

Muscle is heavier than fat (edit: by volume), so he could have had muscle turn to fat without gaining weight, then gain 7-lbs of fat on top of that.

.......

muscle can not turn to fat

this is broscience at its finest
