Carlisle accuses Jazz of "thugging it up"

I love this. The league has gotten so far in the other direction - soft - that this type of play is a welcome sight. I'm tired of the players being so buddy buddy with each other. That's why I didn't mind that KG talked trash about LaLa or Melo's dead sister. All is fair in love and war. Opposing players should hate each other so much that they would not care if they were alive or dead, shot or killed.

So you don't mind that Favors slammed Dirk to the ground? You think that has a place in the NBA? If you really do want to see that type of crap then you can always watch the WWE

Jazz is really tough sometimes especially the second unit, I love it!
Carlisle is a great maybe even the best coach in the league but he whines too much about officiating.

Dirk gives as good as he gets. He's thrown his share of cheap shots and he was trying to provoke Favors there.

Kaman also tried to tackle Al by his neck. It was a physical game on both sides and I was surprised to see Carlisle complain about it -- especially using such a charged word to describe it.

I enjoy chippy and physical basketball...favors was a bit excessive in throwing dirk to the ground though. Favors+Kanter will be fun to watch for years to come. I think its kinda funny, when I think of "physical" and "gritty" basketball I think of teams like the Jazz, Pacers, and Grizzlies while it seems most the big market teams have turned into some derivative of the style of play you see at Duke, more or less living and dying by the three ball.

Nowitzki and Favors is actually a little bit of a rivalry going back a couple games.

Favors's 'takedown' was a lot less dirty than Nowitzki's elbow.

Dirk has been asking for it over the last 3-4 games with Utah. He's gotten away with several malignant cheap shots on Favors, Hayward, and others. Carlisle is butt-hurt that they lost to the better team.

Gotta give Jarret Jack props on that play. He's the one who started the confrontation due to Kanter and Landry. Ended up with a Warriors win in Utah.

Get real Kamans foul on Al was nothing compared to the Favors Body Slam of Dirk and Kamans was called a Flagrant . Favors was pissed because he was called for the offensive foul the play before . Atleast Kamans foul on Al he was trying to keep Al from getting the and 1 and fouled him around the neck nothing the dirty but still got the flagrant. Favors just body slammed Dirk after he no longer even had the ball.

Laughable that Dirk is suppose to be a Dirty player . Dirk the same player that has his teeth knocked out TWICE in Utah
